1.Experience and Credentials of the dance instructors - The husband- and-wife team of Ed and Luming de la Cruz has been dancing for thirteen years now and are highly qualified to teach ballroom dancing.  On a regular basis, they seek coaching from nationally renowned professional ballroom dancers in California, Las Vegas, Minnesota, and New Jersey.  A list of all the Champions they've studied under.

2.Well-organized system of teaching _ Dance levels are designed for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advance.  A well - crafted syllabus covers each level consisting of 10 dance patterns.

3.Variety of Ballroom, Latin, and other Popular Dances - Rumba is a mainstay; salsa, is a close second.  The popularity of Argentine Tango (Salon, Milonga and Vals) is on the rise!

4.Dance Music - Ed's huge collection of CD's consist of hard-to-find selections and the latest in dance music.

5.Facility - Clean and spacious, 2400 sq. ft. dance area with wooden floors and mirrored walls specifically designed and built for ballroom dancing.

6.Location and Parking - Accessible from major highways and there is ample parking.

7.Meet New Friends - A fun place to meet interesting people. 8.Saturday Night Dance Party - Open dancing from 8 pm to 12:00 midnight with refreshments at a nominal cost ($10 per person). Refreshments and the company are great!

9.Private, semi-private, and group lessons - Group lessons (at least six people make a group) and are based on the schools schedule.  Semi-private and private lessons can be arranged easily. 
10.A GOOD EXERCISE FOR THE BODY AND THE SPIRIT - Everyone agrees dancing is one of the best forms of exercise.  Dancing helps improve the physical, mental, and emotions between dance partners, whether they're married couples or just friends.

"We have been dancing socially for about 10 years and discovered Luming & Ed's Dance Time With Friends by accident about 3 years ago.  We were very impressed not only with with their high standard of dancing, especially the latin numbers but also how warm, friendly and courteous every body was from our very first visit. The dance floor could be a little bigger, but the people more than make up for it. It's just as much fun to sit and watch the people dancing especially on the latin numbers.

Luming and Ed are probably two of the best teachers we've known and lead by example and really care about all their students and help them to learn the different dances and have a lot of fun doing so. Both Luming and Ed are excellent dancers in their own right. There is usually a birthday celebrant on most week ends and we all sing happy birthday.    

We would award Dance Time With Friends a big "10" for warm friendly people, great dancers and lots of fun.

Simply put, "We love dancing!" Ever since we started dancing in your studio our life has never been the same. Dance Time with Friends is an excellent place to learn to dance. It's a great place to learn all kind of dances, everything from Ballroom to Latin. It also creates a fun and friendly atmosphere for all their students. We have met many wonderful people here and formed friendships that will last a long time. Teachers Ed and Luming are talented,
warm, great dancers, and a lot of fun to be around. They're truly great teachers who combines a strong focus of foundation and details. Their guidance and support are tremendously helpful to us. We performed at the Dance sport last year and we had a great challenging experience that time. In short, we feel very lucky to have found this studio and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to dance.

The day we joined Dance Time with Friends marked the beginning of a healthier and happier life. The monotonous steps on the treadmill and the boring walks by the lake were all replaced by the magnificent sound of Ballroom music. We dance long hours and thanks to dancing our heart is stronger and the body is slimmer. We feel a lot younger and joy seems to be forever. Thank you very much Dance Time with Friends!

Dancing is one of my passions in life with golf, tennis and travel.  Being a single mother for 24 years I was intimidated to take lessons alone but in August, 2010, I took the courage to join Arthur Murray Dance Studio near my house.  It was good place for a single woman like me but the fee was outrageously too high and I felt I was held back and not challenged to reach my potentials.

After 13 months I left and joined Dance Time With Friends.  The fees are very affordable but the studio has a special asset which cannot be duplicated.  The couple and also the teachers have the passion for dancing.  Their desire to share what they have learned studying from several dance masters and champions exudes!  They teach from their hearts which is a rarity to studio owners who want to make themselves rich.  Their attention to details in teaching is exemplary. At 68 years old, they make dancing fun and great way to exercise my mind as well as my physical body.

It was five years ago when my wife and I had our first ballroom dance lesson from DTWF.  Because of the friendly atmosphere at the studio, we've kept coming back regularly for the dance lessons and practice nights.  Dancing has added excitement to our lives.  Aside from improving our dancing skills, we also improved mentally, physically and socially.  If you are considering learning to dance or want to brush up on it, try Dance Time with Friends.  There is nothing to lose. We are a couple who have been self-employed for over 20 yrs. and can easily make an excuse of being so busy to take dance lessons , but we never did. Dancing became a part of our lives. 

There's so much positive to say about DTWF. First of all, since we started in DTWF , we have built numerous valuable friendships , foremost of our close relationship with our patient, understanding and talented dance instructors , Ed and Luming de la Cruz. We have been dancing for a number of yrs. , but we never imagined we can do the complicated patterns of Advanced Rumba,Samba, Bolero,Cha-Cha,Tango which are both available in American and International Styles . People are in awe with the hand styling and dance techniques . These are all possible because of the diligent, patient teaching and coaching of Ed and Luming de la Cruz. They're so generous in sharing what they learn from the other professional coaches. 

Lately of course, we started learning the Argentine

Tango. We become so rich in culture, I should say , because we learn so much of the dances of other countries. 

1.  Do I need to sign a long term contract in order to join? 
     There are no long term binding contracts at Dance Time With Friends, you decide how many classes you want to take.  We offer different price packages to fit your    needs.

2.  What are the prices?
     People are often surprised at how affordable our classes are, and even more so when compared to other schools that have long term contracts. There are three options;
a) Dance packages of 4, 8 and 12

3.  Do you need a partner to learn how to dance?
     Because of recent request we recently started a singles class on Monday from 8pm - 9pm.  Since the popularity of the class exploded we now offer a 2nd night for singles, Tuesday from 7pm - 8pm.

4.  What do we need to wear?
     Simply wear comfortable clothing and dress shoes.  If you don't have any shoes to dance with we also offer a large selection of dancing shoes for purchase.

5.  Do you choreograph dances for special events?
     We can choreograph dances for any kind of event that you might have.  People most commonly request to learn unique dance choreography for weddings, cotillions, anniversaries, and birthdays.

6.  How long will it take me to be good?
     The key is being consistent in classes and practicing.  We've had students who have never danced before, show incredible progress in only after a week.  While others took their time and improved considerably after a couple of months. . In the end, everyone can progress at the speed they feel comfortable with.

7. I really don't have a place to practice at home, where can I work on my dancing?
     Every Saturday night from 8:00pm - 12:00am is dance practice/party.
8:00pm - 12:00am - Ballroom and Latin Dancing
All this for only $10 per person.  Our Saturday night dance party is open to the public. Light refreshments is served.
